I wanted to see exactly what these pants were all about and try them out for myself, so I was so excited when they finally showed up at my front door.
These pants look like biker pants but are comfortable and move with your movements. I work out regularly 4-5 days a week and maintain a pretty healthy diet but was looking to lose 5 lbs. I wanted to wear these pants during my workouts to see if they did indeed help me lose a size.
I tested these pants for 10 days without changing my diet or fitness routine. I put these pants on on day one weighing in at 138.6. I found these pants to not feel hot or any different than any other workout pants I've worn in the past. But when I took them off after a pilates hour long workout, although the rest of me barely broke a sweat, my legs were all hot and sticky where my hot pants had been!
Day 2: Bike workout for an hour. I get pretty sweaty doing this workout regularly but when I got off the bike I literally had sweat dripping down my legs from the hot pants. No doubt these pants are helping me sweat out a lot more.
Day 3 Weight lifting workout for 45 mins. My workout made me sweat a bit but I definently sweat more on my legs with my hot pants. I love that these pants move right along with my workout and are not restricting at all. I can easily move around in these no problem.
Day 4 I sit at my desk for about 4 hours before my workout just to see. My legs are hot and sticky, just from sitting there! I'm completely comfortable and don't notice until I take them off. Love that these pants are working even when I'm not. I wear underwear with my hour long bike workout today and can't believe how soaked they are when I'm finished with my workout. Its like i soaked them in a tub of water. I never get this sweaty on my own!
Day 5 Back to the weights again. I'm loving these pants. They are comfortable and it makes me feel good knowing that even when I'm barely breaking a sweat my legs are still getting super sweaty thanks to my hot pants.
Day 6 and 7 I rest, no hot pants.
Day 8 I weigh myself, I've lost 2 lbs in one week. Impressive! Wear my hot pants with my 45 min pilates workout.
Day 9 Back on the bike. My legs are dripping with sweat again, but I don't notice until i take my pants off. I love that they hold the sweat in and it feels no different then If i was wearing some cotton shorts.
day 10 Its my birthday so I take the day off from working out and my hot pants. My weight has stayed the same.
Day 11-14 I fly to L.A. and unfortunately don't take my hot pants. I eat horribly and don't work out while I'm there, my weight is back up 2 lbs.
My verdict: These pants work! I have yet to try them with other every day activities but even from just sitting at my desk, they are making my legs hot and sticky. With out changing my diet and fitness routine I shed 2 lbs in one week. I am going to continue with this to see if I lose any more weight and will be sure to post it! I think these pants are great for working out and I love how much more they make me sweat. My question is, when are they coming out with Hot Tops or Hot Jumpsuits? Cuz I'm in!
